First year attendee and first visit to the Garden State. I hope you will consider AA&A Artistries!
I just hope Artist Alley’s not as small this year as it was last. My friends and I sent in our form to get a table within 3 hours of the form being posted and we were put on the waiting list and then rejected.
While the Artist Alley will increase in size, it will always be a very popular event and sell out within minutes. Please take this into account when you are signing up and be prepared to spend the needed time to get your Letter of Intent in ASAP.
Very interested in registering for a table this year for the first time, but I’m afraid it’ll be up and gone before I’ll even know about it. Same worry as the previous poster. Please get info up asap! Thanks!
We’ll have the information about *when* the form will be up on our site, the forums, Twitter, and Facebook so as long as you’re watching for it, you will have plenty of warning about when the form will be up.
The date for the Letter of Intent registration process has been posted. The date is Saturday, February 4th. The Letter of Intent form will become available at an undisclosed time between the hours of 9am-Noon EST. Please check out the AnimeNEXT forums for the most up to date information concerning the Artist Alley.

When will we find out we made it?
Not for a fee weeks at least.
From the title “letter of intent” I thought the application for a table would be much more involved, but all the form asked me was for my name, email, and what size table I wanted.
I hope I didn’t miss something becase I am using a phone (away from home).
I do understand that it’s in a kind of raffle form to get a table.
No, it is not a ‘Raffle’. Please read the FAQ and Rules. The process is explained in detail.
Heh, I kinda thought the same thing. Not the raffle bit, which for what it’s worth, works gangbusters at the furry cons (then again, those are typically about getting a ton of commissioons, then going to your room to work on them), but about the “All you want is my name and email? Did I f***about this up because I’m on a phone?” bit.
All I can say is, please do some research. All information, including a screen shot of a past Letter of Intent has been readily available for quite some time now (in some cases years). The best place to get all this information is the Forums, and it will continue to be the best place for information.
Thank You so much Inyx for keeping us all posted and for scheduling the release of the letter of intent before the super bowl! You’re awesome! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for your patience. I also appreciate the feedback.
The page was under so much stress, it had a very hard time loading. I’m afraid I didn’t make it in due to this. /siiigh! Fingers crossed!
I’ve submitted my letter of intent twice and still haven’t received a confirmation letter. I am worried because I submitted my first at around 10:18 this morning.
If you check the twitter feed–> to the right, you will see the notice that I posted on Facebook. The confirmation e-mail didn’t always go out, but we still got the information in the data base.
Thank you!
I missed it
I totally would love to share. I only need space for commissions since I don’t really do the posters stuff
This is not the place to find someone to share a table with. When tables have actually been given out, there will be a thread on the forums to find someone to share a table with.
Also, you should have joined the mailing list–you would have been notified of the sign up date a month in advance.
I just wanted to know if the deadline for applying for artist alley is over. Meaning, all the tables filled up and there is no more space to sign up or be placed on the waiting list? Thank you.
As the notice says above, the Letter of Intent process is over for this year. The current list of artists exceeds the number of tables we will have available–so if you missed signing up, then there is no way to be added to the waiting list.
When should we see an answer if we were accepted or not?
It will take a few weeks.
Doh! I think I missed the deadline but if not I would love to attend this event
-Thank you
Yes, you have missed the deadline and we aren’t taking any more people on the waiting list. Also, this is not the best way to contact staff in any official manner. E-mail is the best way to contact staff.
