* ANIMENEXT 2007 SCHEDULE
We know that you are all looking forward to AnimeNEXT 2007 and are
making plans for the weekend. To help you make your plans and get
organized for your fun filled weekend we have posted the AnimeNEXT
program schedule (PDF) at http://www.animenext.org/docs/2007-tentative-schedule.pdf This schedule includes Main Events, Panels and Workshops, Dealers Room, Art Show and Artist Alley hours, our video schedule and many other events. Remember to check at our Information Desk in the Meadowlands Exposition Center for changes and additions to the schedule. You will also receive a nice pocket sized copy of our schedule with your registration materials at the convention.
* CONSTRUCTION AT ANIMENEXT 2007
There is construction going on and around the locations you have
gotten used to at AnimeNEXT 2007. Specifically, there is major
construction being conducted in the courtyard behind the Holiday Inn
Secaucus Meadowlands, the official hotel.
Please note that this area is currently fenced off and is unavailable
for photo shoots. This courtyard formerly featured a metal sculpture.
Now the area is fenced off and the courtyard is inaccessible.
The restaurants past the courtyard are still accessible and will be
open through out the convention weekend. Please walk around the fenced
off area to access the restaurants and stores you normally use during
AnimeNEXT 2007, such as Houlihan's, Pizzeria Uno, Burger King, Red
Lobster, TCBY, Chili's, Nikko Sushi & Bento and Dunkin Donuts. You can find a map of the entire area here, http://www.harmonmeadow.com/pages/plazamap.html
* ANIMENEXT 2007 AT THE DOOR REGISTRATION
AnimeNEXT 2007 registration is available at the door of the
convention. Registration is at the Box Office at the Meadowlands
Exposition Center. You may have to wait on line outside of the
exposition center.
Registration will be open the following hours:
Friday 9:00am – 10:00pm
Saturday 9:00am – 10:00pm
Sunday 9:00am – 3:00pm
At-door Registration prices are as follows:

We only accept cash at the event.
* EARLY PRE-REGISTRATION PICK UP
AnimeNEXT will once again have early badge pick-up for pre-registered
attendees. On Thursday, July 5, 2007 those attendees who have
pre-registered for AnimeNEXT 2007 can pick up their badges for the
convention early from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at the Meadowlands Exposition
Center. Registration will only be open for pre-registered attendees.
New registrations may not be purchased at this time.
We also hope to allow pre-registered attendees to watch some anime in
the official AnimeNEXT hotel, The Holiday Inn Secaucus Meadowlands.
Look for information the evening of Thursday, July 5, 2007 and watch
some bonus anime as we set up our equipment for the evening.
* LARP AT ANIMENEXT 2007
For the whole weekend, LARP headquarters will be in a suite on the 3rd
floor of the Holiday Inn. All events will start in this room unless a
LARP GM tells you otherwise. See the schedule below for details. The
LARP schedule will also be posted outside the door, as well as in the
tabletop gaming room (Sussex, 2nd floor, Holiday Inn).
26 people pre-registered for LARP already. Pre-reg is now closed. We
are accepting 24 more people at the LARP suite door during the con.
People who register at the door will only have pre-made anime
characters to choose from. Video game and web comic characters were
only available during pre-reg.
Character pickup starts on Friday at 11am in the LARP suite. The rules
and kickoff meeting is in the Middlesex room (2nd floor, Holiday Inn).
The game begins in the LARP suite after the rules meeting.
LARP registration stops when we reach 50 players. If you show up too
late, or don't come to get a character until Saturday, you might miss out.

* YU-GI-OH! AND OTHER CARD GAME TOURNAMENTS
All tournaments will be on Saturday in the Middlesex room on 2nd floor
of the Holiday Inn. Yu-Gi-Oh starts at 10am. Pokemon, Duel Masters, &
Fullmetal Alchemist start at 4pm. Naruto, Magic: The Gathering &
Universal Fighting System start at 7pm.
Rules details for each game are below:
Yu-Gi-Oh
Sanctioned Tournament: Standard rules. The current ban list is in
effect. Japanese cards will only be allowed if that card has already
been released in English.
No more than 60 people may participate, so show up early for sign-up.
Tag-Team format, you will be assigned a random partner. The rules will
be explained when the tournament begins.
Prize is a Nintendo DS Lite.
Pokemon
Sanctioned Tournament: Unlimited - Fun Format. Any card with the
Pokemon backing that is marked as tournament legal is playable. Cards
printed from the Wizards of the Coast run are playable ONLY if they
have been reprinted by Nintendo and if such applies, the Nintendo card
ruling takes precedence.
No more than 16 people may participate.
Swiss format, one-on-one, best two of three matches, fifty minutes a
round.
No prizes available from Pokemon (yet).
Duel Masters
Sanctioned Tournament, Standard Format. Non-English cards are allowed
but the English Card rulings will be used. (A laptop connected to
Gatherer (Magic's Card Database) will be available.)
No more than 16 people may participate.
Swiss format, best two of three matches, fifty minutes a round.
No prizes available from Wizards of the Coast.
Fullmetal Alchemist
Sanctioned Tournament: Standard Format, Sealed Deck using Premier
Edition (all players will receive a PE starter deck and three boosters)
No more than 16 people will participate
Swiss format, one game matches, fifty minutes a round.
Convention exclusive cards available as prizes.

Universal Fighting System
Sanctioned Tournament: Standard Tournament.
No more than 32 people may participate in this event.
Prizes will be foils available from Sabertooth Games exclusive to
tournament participants. Character cards available to winners.
Best two of three matches, fifty minutes a round.
