Kenneth Rage is a New York based DJ, cosplayer, producer and songwriter specializing in video game inspired electronic dance music and ethnic drums. His passion for anime, video games and
EDM has created a breakthrough in his music career. His DJ sets is the embodiment of bridging the gap between popular music and nerd culture by creating a dance field that everyone thoroughly enjoys. Kenneth Rage gained his experience from playing at some of New York City’s largest clubs such as Pacha, Webster Hall, Highline Ballroom and Amazura. Kenneth Rage has been an influential DJ in the local New York cosplay scene, rocking out after-parties and cosplay themed events weekly for Sonic Boom Box, Sexy Nerds, Senpai Squad and many more. He has now embarked on a new journey to curate his own line of events nationwide as a co-founder of Otakus with Attitude.
His talent is not only limited to electronic dance, he is well versed in Open Format DJing which includes Hip-Hop, Latin, Reggae, Top 40, Soul, Disco, Funk and 80s Freestyle. His versatility and eclectic range of music has given him a plethora of opportunity to become an omnipresence in the nightlife scene.
Due to an unavoidable work conflict, TeddyLoid will unfortunately no longer be able to attend AnimeNEXT 2018. He is disappointed about pulling out of the show last minute, but is hopeful about joining us again in the future to put on an amazing set for all of our fantastic attendees.
Since his first time spinning in 2014 at AnimeNEXT, TeaCake has experimented with many genres of electric dance music. But out of all the genres he’s experimented with, he always seems to come back to one genre he considers home. That genre his Hardstyle with it’s powerful and crazy kicks, but don’t let that think he’ll only play Hardstyle, he might have another genre up his sleeves.
Hoping to share his love for electric music, he comes back to AnimeNEXT 2018 to spin once more!

Since his debut at AnimeNext 2009, DJ Gnaw has been an unstoppable force of trance music. He is located in central New Jersey and studied in audio engineering at the Institute of Audio Research. In the past DJ Gnaw has DJed at many Anime conventions from AnimeNext 2009 – 2015, MangaNext 2011-2012, and CPAC 2010-2011, 2013-2014. When he is not DJing, you may find him building Gundam Models and also cosplaying as a Gundam because chicks dig robots.
DJ Gnaw has been honing his skills to improve his DJ abilities to perform the best show that any attendee will ever see. He plays everything from old school trance to new age EDM. In the end, DJ Gnaw will make you dance the night away. Stay Gold and remember: ” Love and Peace”.
Tamerax is considering to be a rising star on the international scene with his chart topping hard dance singles known for being modern and powerfully uplifting and but at the same time playful and fun. He is known for bringing his unique high energy sound, smooth mixing skills and intense stage presence to shows all across Canada and the United States. With almost 2 decades of experience in the music industry, his styles range from Hard Trance, Tech Dance, Freeform and his new love of HDM has being bringing him lot of attention. Keeping extremely busy in the studio over the last couple of years, Tamerax has been signed to several of the world’s most respected hard dance labels (including Synergy Trax, Hyperdrive, and Metamorph), has been featured on numerous international CD compilations and mixes and has support from some of the biggest names in the industry. Many of these tracks reached number 1 on various charts including the Beatport Hard Dance chart with Bring It Up.
Since 2010, Descent has proven to be one of the most dedicated DJs to emerge from the convention dance scene. Having found a home in Trance and Progressive, his sets aim to make you feel, love, and most importantly dance. He aims to bring a worldwide sound that goes beyond typical electronic music.
Over the past 8 years, he has performed throughout the Midwest and East Coast, as well as hosting various club nights dedicated to fandoms, and hosting a radio show for Krafty Radio, one of the largest online broadcasters of Hard Dance music.
Candy Kid can throw down some hard and dirty beats, showing you that even the sweetest people have a dark-side. Fueling the crowd with happiness and providing an outlet for self-expression is always the biggest reward for Slava. You can retrace DJ Candy Kid’s first dejay set back to NYC’s Halloween 2001. Since then, Slava has torn up American dance floors from east coast to west coast (and everywhere between), plays Canada on a yearly basis, and makes fans groove worldwide. Slava is currently the owner of New York City’s only Happy Hardcore recording label Galaxy Express Recordings, which launched in 2009.

Having DJed at AnimeNext in 2012, and being the resident VJ for Otakon for the past 6 years, Faith in the Glitch is ready to unleash a live AMV experience on your poor unsuspecting eyes. FitG is a mangled pixel-punk media destroyer, datamoshed anime ruiner, broken NES-cartridge rocker, epilepsy inducing crazed mad scientist of the RGB spectrum, viral visualist from the video underworld, live AMV alchemist, FitG with torture you with a turntable, and maim you with a mixer.
